Day 1: Arrival Day
Arrive in Ennis and check into your B&B. Collect your bicycle, Information Pack with Route Description and map from the proprietor. If you have time take the short circular cycle to Quin and Knappogue Castle returning to Ennis for your overnight.

Day 2: Ennis to Kilrush
Leaving Ennis for Kilrush you cycle along the north shore of the mighty Shannon River Estuary which hosts beautiful views over North Kerry and Scattery Island. The town of Kilrush has a wonderful marina and offers the opportunity to enjoy a boat trip over to the prized Scattery Island boasting a wonderful monastic settlement dating back to St. Senan.

Day 3: Kilrush to Spanish Point
Today you follow the route of the old West Clare Railway as you cycle along the coastline of this rugged Atlantic county. Threading your way through magnificent coastal scenery your destination today is the hamlet of Spanish Point.

Day 4: Spanish Point to Doolin
From Spanish Point you cycle along one of the most famous routes in Ireland. A beautiful coastal road takes you to the village of Lahinch and then on to the world famous Cliffs of Moher before reaching your overnight stop in the little village of Doolin, famous for its Irish music.

Day 5: Free Day
Today is given as a Free Day to relax and enjoy the locality – or avail of the opportunity to visit one of the wonderful Aran Islands.
Day 6: Doolin to Gort
Leaving Doolin you cycle north to Black Head along the shores of Galway Bay before turning southeast through the Burren region. The area hosts the famous "moonscape" that is incredible to see & harbours some of Ireland’s most historical landmarks. Cycling on you head for the lovely market town of Gort and your stopover for the night.

Day 7: Gort to Ennis
Returning to the unique landscapes of the Burren you leave Gort and cycle through Mullaghmore, Leamanch Castle, and other mystical sounding places on a network of backroads as you return to Ennis for your last overnight.

Day 8:
After a final breakfast and farewell you leave your cycle behind you and follow your own arrangements for your onward journey.
